/ 01 — Our Foundation

Insijam Architects and Engineers was founded in 2014 in Riyadh by architect Zakarya Alahmed.

Designs that focus on the aesthetics of spaces and their context — while considering the function of the building's use.

The firm was founded with the objective of providing architectural and urban design services that meet local needs and serve our clients with designs that focus on the aesthetics of spaces and their context, while considering the function of the building's use.

That founding objective still shapes how every Insijam project begins — across residential, commercial, institutional and mixed-use work, from early concept through to delivery.

Design that responds to place and purpose

Every project begins with an understanding of its site, its users, and its purpose. Our team designs spaces that respond to their surroundings while remaining functional for the people who use them every day.

We work using Building Information Modeling (BIM) throughout the design process, allowing us to coordinate architectural, structural, and electromechanical work in a single model and reduce conflicts before construction begins.
